Emmaline's First Haircut

Well, I finally broke down and decided that when Owen got his next haircut, Emmaline would join him. Sniff. Like her brother, she was a champ, though she firmly refused the cape, thank you very much. :) Her new 'do is actually the first picture...I don't think she was totally sure what had just happened!

Donuts with Santa

Our MOPS group hosted Donuts with Santa (not pictured, explanation below) this morning, and I was so excited to take Owen and Emmaline to see Santa in a more private Santa that did not involve a line and potential toddler discontent.

They were SO excited to see Santa and stuffed their faces with donuts (um yes, I helped myself too) while he read them a story. Then they stood in line to see him (I was really hopeful at this point) and when it was their turn...they both said "NO" and left the line. Arghhhhh! But, they had tons of fun running around and around with their friends, so I took a few pictures. Very challenging to get close-ups, I feel like I have to keep plenty of the shot open so if they move, I don't just get an arm!

Christmas Trains "Choo-Chooooo"

We took Owen and Emmaline to see the Trains at North Park last weekend, an impressive display of toy trains at North Park mall open every holiday season. We had never been, so all four of us got to see it for the first time together. Both kids love "twains...choo chooo" right now, so perfect timing!
